Terms of Use

Effective 8 November 2026. These terms govern your use of Espressotally, an espresso shot log for Android, published by Loadcircle Ltd (England and Wales). By installing or using the app you agree to them.

The licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Espressotally on devices you own, through Google Play. Nothing in the app is sold to you except the licence and, where bought, the unlock.

Free and unlock

The price is set and shown by Google Play in your own currency. Purchases are handled by Google and subject to Play's terms; refunds go through Google Play, not through us. The unlock can be restored on a new phone with Play's restore, using the same Google account.

Your log

The app is a personal record of the coffee you have pulled. Nothing in it is advice about coffee, health, equipment or anything else, and nothing it computes — the ratio, the readout's advice about one detent finer — is a promise about the next shot.

The log is yours, and only yours

Your log lives on your device. We cannot read it, recover it or restore it. Export it — CSV, JSON or a backup — if you want a copy you hold yourself. Deleting the app deletes the log.

No warranty

The app is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it and are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including lost log entries or a bad shot. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Acceptable use

Use the app as a personal log. Do not attempt to circumvent Google Play's billing, do not redistribute the app outside Google Play, and do not use it to break the law.

Changes

These terms may change with a new version of the app or the policy above; the effective date at the top says which version you are reading. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes about them.
